Maurice Caplice
Not taking things too seriously and being aware of a matter of opinion are key elements to Caplices’ work. Some meanings are pre-intended and other meanings arrive out of his method of practice.

"Topics such as placement of an individual, politics, class, nationally, environment and ethics interest me as well as baffle me. The understanding of such, generally leads to more questions, but where is the fun in answers"

The materials as much as the subject matter are very varied in Caplices’ work and all works jostle as much as support each other. But the sense of humour and the plain enjoyment of the making are clear to see. Caplices’ work arrives out of this process.
