Still Life | Oonagh O'Toole

"The everyday object and scene interests me. A bowl, an apple, a goldfish bowl, a rooftop, the space around it, the shadows cast. Each object, animate or inanimate has an effect on and is affected by its surroundings."

Oonagh O’ Toole graduated from the National College of Art & Design, Dublin with a degree in Graphic Design. She worked as a designer and illustrator in graphic design, book design and advertising in London, New York and Sydney. She taught design and illustration for five years with D.I.T. before focusing on painting.

Oonagh exhibited work in the Hallward Gallery Winter show 2007/08. Her work is currently on show at the Greenlane Gallery, Dingle.
