Brian Gallagher | PAINTINGS, SCRAPERBOARDS AND DRAWINGS

Brian Gallagher embarks on his first solo show in Dublin at The Crow Gallery this November. Encompassing the varied strands of his artistic career the exhibition will feature his work - paintings, scraperboards and drawings.

Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Brian has been a fulltime artist since graduating from Art College in Bristol in 1989. Living in Dublin for many years he is an experienced artist and illustrator working in various media from computer to traditional painting on canvas. His work has appeared in many areas including advertising, design, editorial and book publishing.

Since his first solo show in Co Donegal, Brian’s work has featured in many group shows, including The RUA (2007) and the RAAI (2007), and Brian has had a piece selected for inclusion in this years RHA Annual Show. His work is also held in private collections internationally.
