| an exhibition of new work by
Gavin Redmond
Gavin
Redmond's latest work mines the territory of landscape painting.
The work teases out a space between the rational and intuitive,
the real and the metaphorical, the romantic sublime and kitsch
in order to foreground a mood of quiet contemplation.
Gavin
was born in Dublin in 1982. He studied at the Institute of Art,
Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire. Recent group exhibitions
include: Iontas 2007; 'Fear Not', Sligo Art Gallery, Yeats Memorial
Building; Studio Open Day, La Catedral Studios, Dublin,
